Chris was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario. In 2004 after winning a National Junior A Championship, the Royal Bank Cup, Chris also decided to pursue academics and hockey at Lakehead University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Education Degree.

Chris achieved great individual and team success at Lakehead University. He was named OUA All-Star, CIS All-Canadian, OUA MVP, and in 2005/06 led the Thunderwolves to an OUA Queens Cup Championship and a National Silver Medal.

Since graduating from Lakehead University, Chris went on to a professional playing career in the American Hockey League, Central Hockey League, and British Elite League. While Chris was playing professionally he always made a point of spending his summers in Thunder Bay and giving back to the hockey community through his work with various hockey organizations in the City. Since retiring from professional hockey Chris has decided to make Thunder Bay his full-time residence and currently teaches in the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board.

Chris is grateful and appreciative of the support he received from the local hockey community and is excited to continue being involved in local hockey.
